Everything, *everything* in Japan is irresistably cute. While there last week, I found myself pocketing the little plastic spoons from Starbucks, and buying band-aids at the 7-11, because they were just so cute. But, by far, these matches were my favorite things I found in all of Tokyo. Who else but the Japanese would take something so commonplace and banal as matches and do this?
On a similar note, did anyone see the nails on Design*Sponge this week? Case closed.
