You may not have known me a few years ago when I was making tooth cushions and selling them on etsy. They were my first tiny success when I went out on my own as a designer, and, to my astonishment and delight, were featured on Daily Candy, Ohdeedoh, and some other great blogs. The only problem was that I became a little one-woman sweat shop, and got all sorts of neck and back problems from the cutting and sewing, and for all the time I put into the little guys, I made a profit of about $13 total.
Ahh. The life of a crafter.
So, I quit making them, but have always hoped they could live on, in some form or other. They're just too cute to go away entirely:) In fact, there's a little patch of elephants on one of my Ruby Star Rising prints... a nod to these guys. A few weeks ago, I finally decided to write a pattern so that people could make their own.
Let me tell you, writing a pattern is no joke! I've worked for weeks on this and have a new respect for all the designers out there who sell their own patterns.
Without further ado, you can order one of these through my etsy shop, and I'll send it to you promptly in PDF format. Hope you enjoy!
